Rose
Sharon’s Delight
I like to think of it as a “Matilija Poppy” on a rose bush! Single petal flowers, with yellow stamens at the center, look like the wildflower- or perhaps a white “Rock Rose”. Unlike the Cistus family, however, (which flowers for a very brief period and doesn’t age well) you can get the look, and flowers are year-round on permanent plants that give decades of service! Drought-tolerant when established, full sun or a lot of shade. Great plant anywhere, any climate in America- evergreen in coastal climates, no leaf disease or mildew!
